Lead singer, Trish Hawkins was one of the lead singers of Lavender Rose and sang back-up for Peter Irwin and the Elvis Band.  She handles hits from Patsy Cline to Shania Twain.  Her husband Dave is well-known in the area not only as musician and songwriter but as the former owner of 8th Street Music, the Owen Sound music store that he recently sold to Long and McQuade.  Dave is very active in local music both as a performer and songwriter and central mentor and cheerleader in the Georgian Shores Songwriters’ Circle. Max is an accomplished keyboard player as well as piano tuner.  He did a concert of his favourite tunes not long ago at the Leith Historic Church.

People love to get up and dance to this band.  Some of their songs include Heartaches By The Number, Paper Roses, and Your Cheating Heart, along with dozens of other old favourites.   Dave has mentioned that at future gigs, they might consider providing some basic lessons in the two-step just to help beginners get up on their feet.  This is a great way to enjoy  a night out on a Saturday, bring back some good memories and get the blood flowing.
