dq blizzard2015_Miracle_Treat_DayToday, August 11th is Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queen, where the net proceeds from every Blizzard Treat will be donated to local Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals.  Every day, 4,900 children enter a Children’s Miracle Network member hospital for treatment.

It’s happening at most DQs but here in Meaford they’re going one better by presenting live music.

Your live music day doesn’t have to end there.  After enjoying Scott Almond head down the street to the Leeky Canoe to enjoy an evening of music from Beaker Grainger, well-known singer-songwriter whose band River And Rocks entertained this year as part of the Canada Day celebrations.
